Really excited for my boys this upcoming season. Grateful that I got to play my last season amongst an elite defensive staff and players who taught me how to compete at a very high level. Our season may have not panned out the way we had hoped for but BYU defense is in great hands with Jay Hill at the helm. His attention to detail is what makes him elite.
During practices he is as real as it gets and is always expecting greatness from everyone on the field, including those who aren’t practicing. There is an expectation to add value whether you are a starter or not and that’s why the culture he is building will thrive.
