The situation with Parker Kingston and the charges that were brought against him made national news. Everyone I knew who had a relationship with Kingston was shocked and surprised. But the situation only got more perplexing as it progressed.
Several times the case was delayed. After over a year of investigation they never brought a case to trial and it was dismissed. There is lots of speculation as to why and the one that appeared to have to most traction was a lack of ability to testify on behalf of the state.
