The last couple practices have been intense boxing matches. Everyone’s tired and sore but they are all going so hard. For some it’s to solidify a spot in the fall. Offense has been dominating and we installed all our trick plays so it’s been a blast watching them succeed. Nothing is better than talking crap to the defense when we score.
We did a drill called speed in space where basically there’s a square and the offensive player has to score and the defensive player stops him 1 on 1. Offense put on a clinic. They were juking guys left and right and there were very few times they didn’t score. A couple of crazy shifty guys are Koa Eldridge, Anthony Olson, and Hinckley Ropati.
