The Cougars just landed one of the most disruptive defenders in the state — and he grew up right down the road. Uhila Wolfgramm, a four-star edge rusher out of Maple Mountain High School in Spanish Fork, has committed to BYU. It's a hometown win that gives the front seven exactly the kind of pass-rushing juice this program has been building. Wolfgramm broke the news himself in the CougConnect Discord — and the community reaction was immediate.

This one hits different. Wolfgramm didn't have to leave Utah to chase it — he had 25 offers on the table, including UCLA, Oklahoma, California, and rival Utah. He took five official visits and had every reason to look elsewhere. He chose Provo. For a kid who grew up in the shadow of LaVell Edwards Stadium, this is the dream scenario: play in front of your people, in a defense that's already trending toward something special.
