Day 4 of spring ball showed a lot of great glimpses of what cougar nation can see this upcoming season. Gary has shown that he has the playmaking ability to be a dual threat quarterback, and Jake is continuing to make small progressive steps forward in making the right reads and getting his playmakers the ball. Highlights from this practice had to be the red zone offense.
The offense was doing really well in their red zone conversions today, with running backs such as LJ Martin and Miles Davis showing they can run physical when their number is called. Jojo Phillips had a couple of nice contended grabs, and Keanu Hill is as elusive as a TE can be and shows that he can get open as the big man.
