Man, it’s been a fun couple of weeks here in the Big12. We started 0-2 in conference and have since gone 6-3 against some tough opponents. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from playing in the Big12, it’s that there are no easy wins. Every team is super physical, athletic, can shoot, and has really good players. It’s been so fun to compete in this conference. I’m excited to see how far we can go in these last couple games, the conference tournament, and March madness. This is a special team and it’s been such a big blessing to be a part of it!
We play Oklahoma State tomorrow (Feb. 17) and it’s going to be a really fun game. We really prepped these past couple days on transition and ball screen defense since they run a lot of that. They really like to skip the ball from side to side in transition as well so it will be important for us to make sure we are there guarding our guy when we catches it. Other than that they are physical, rebound really well, and are a good team. If we stick to our principles and make them guard us in transition, we should come out with a really nice win.
