Today was our first official scrimmage where we were live the whole practice! With it being early morning, a lot of people were a little quiet at first but when it came time to hit everyone was up! Tommy Prassas is one that I truly believe will play as a freshman. He has a great motor, with good ball skills and he isn’t scared to come down and hit (as he showed early in the scrimmage with a big hit).
Tommy has been gelling well with freshman Therrian “Tre” Alexander III. Those 2 have chemistry that you want to see between a safety and corner duo. Tre also has been having a great spring and that continued today as he had an early pbu as he guarded Chase Roberts on a fade ball. In all honesty both of the freshman had a good day. Another db who had a Great day today was Evan Johnson. He played well all day and got himself an interception. He is one to watch out for this season as he can make a big impact.
