Being here at BYU is hands down the best decision I’ve made. I’m in a beautiful city surrounded by wonderful individuals. I’m starting to get familiar with my teammates, support staff, and members of the community. Overall I’ve transitioned from the phase of everything being new to embracing and appreciating my new home.
Over the summer I got the time to go through workouts and build connections with my teammates. As an offense, this is the tightest-knit unit I’ve been a part of. We have strong vocal leaders and tons of guys that are willing to follow leadership. I think as a unit and most importantly as a team, we must be able to self-correct one another and utilize criticism constructively. Being here in this environment has shown me what a true team atmosphere is made of. Everyone is in constant competition for the betterment of themselves and those around them.
