So this information is dated. I would’ve got it to you all sooner but I was trying to get confirmations. It is about QB recruiting. On Thursday I heard from a few people that Maealiuaki Smith was a done deal for BYU and that we should hear about it next week (now this week).
I have asked around some more and have gotten more mixed responses. Like probablys and most likelys. I know on Thursday another QB we were interested in cancelled his official visit to BYU. I heard that the reason why was because we let him know that Maealiuaki Smith was “our top priority”. I also heard that Romano Gagliano after wining MVP at a BYU camp had moved ahead of the other QB who cancelled his visit.
