Marriott Madness was special! I have never seen the ROC get like that and the amount of energy and love that we all felt was special! This season is going to be super electric and fun. I can’t wait to see the entire MC filled for the first time this year.
Coach Young is amazing. There’s an energy in the air and an excitement that he brings to every practice and meeting. He’s the type of coach who demands the best from his players, but in a way that makes you want to give it your all.
All the coaches hang their hats on player development. They focus on the tiny details that really matter to help us not only succeed but improve in every possible moment on the court. Every guy is locked in and practicing game-like situations that we might be put in so we are not rattled. The confidence of the team is super high right now.
The culture on the team is special. Every guy on this team is bought into the system because Coach Young and his staff treat us like pros and expect a lot of us. He treats every player with the same respect, whether you’re a freshman or a senior.
In just the short time we have been together, I’ve learned so much from the coaches. I feel like my development as a player hasskyrocketed. I am excited to see how far we can go this season. The ROC and Cougar Nation in the MC in less than a month…
