The month of September has been a roller coaster for me. And to be quite honest, probably one of the most difficult months in my football career. Aside from personal issues, I have been plagued with an undisclosed injury that I have never dealt with before. Week in and week out I have been doing everything I can to speed up the healing process although it’s not really something I can control.
This was very tough on my mental, and had me in a dark place that had me questioning why is God punishing me? But as I continue to read my scripture, I was reminded that the good lord would never put anything on my plate that I couldn’t handle and that everything happens for a reason. As much as I would love to be out there with my brothers contributing to a win, I understand I must focus on the task at hand, and that’s getting healthy.
