A new name of a possible assistant coach has been brought to my attention. At my last count there were three open spots remaining on staff. But in a conversation I was having recently a person mentioned there were two spots left.
He also mentioned a name that sent me on a search. I’m not sure if any of the searching turned up anything productive or not. But I think it is worth sharing here. I just want to be very clear. I have no idea if this person will be hired, or if they’re even being looked at by the BYU staff. But there are some intriguing connections that make this a fun person to speculate about. And the fall out from a different fan base if he were to be hired would be something great to behold.
